TNG Digital, the e-wallet subsidiary of Touch ‘n Go, has hired Ignatius Ong as CEO, replacing Syahrunizam Samsudin who will return to his role as CEO of Touch ‘n Go. Ong, who will begin his new role on the 12th August, built his career in the airline industry: he was most recently group chief revenue officer at Malaysia Airlines and CEO of Firefly Airlines.
Syahrunizam in July revealed to IFN Fintech that TNG Digital has been exploring Islamic fintech solutions.
