AmBank and Merchantrade launch eWallet

Malaysia’s AmBank and Merchantrade have launched the Hybrid eWallet, where the Merchantrade Money eWallet is integrated with the AmBank Islamic Hybrid Current Account-i (hCA-i) allowing eWallet users to enjoy the benefits of an Islamic current account with a total combined limit of RM50,000 (US$10,747.5). According to a LinkedIn post, the Hybrid eWallet also allows users to earn profit from the AmBank Islamic hCA-i, aimed to enhance user experience and provide new levels of convenience for online, cross-border and multicurrency payments.
