BNM eyes 15% yearly growth for e-payment adoption with new campaign

Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) has launched a new campaign to accelerate digital payment adoption among businesses and households by 15% a year and raise e-payment transactions per capita to 400 from 221 by 2026.

Known as the e-Duit campaign, it seeks to elevate public awareness and build user confidence in digital payment adoption to support the digitalization of the Malaysian economy.
