Financial technology enthusiast with experience in new venture development, product incubation, strategy and partnerships. Shafik holds a degree in Investment and Financial Risk Management from CASS Business School, London.
An experienced professional having worked in Bank Negara Malaysia as an associate supervisor and in MaxMoney as Head of Online Business in which he developed from scratch, Shafik brings a good experience from the financial ecosystem with a good mix of technology, business acumen and most importantly critical networking skills.
He currently advises Payfo, a fintech subsidiary of a large Malaysian conglomerate in matters relating to innovation, strategy and commercials.
