Dr. Melih Turan completed his undergraduate degree in financial technology at Bilkent University’s Department of Accounting Information Systems. He studied at Burgundy Business School in France for one year. He completed his master’s and doctoral studies at Marmara University, Institute of Middle East and Islamic Countries Studies, in the field of Middle East Political Economy. After working at Albaraka Türk in departments such as Business Development and Innovation, Albaraka Garaj, he took part in the Insha digital banking project in Germany. He worked as a product manager at Architecht, the technology subsidiary of Kuwait Finance House. As the Financial Technologies Director at the Finance Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, he led Türkiye’s first “National Fintech Strategy”. He is currently the co-founder and CEO of Goldframer, the world’s first Islamic art investment platform.
