HSBC has launched its investment account opening service on the HSBC Malaysia mobile banking app, allowing HSBC Premier customers to open investment accounts with the bank on a fully digital platform.
With the new feature, HSBC Premier customers can open unit trusts, bonds, and Sukuk accounts. According to a media release, HSBC is the first bank in Malaysia to offer customers the option to open bond/Sukuk investment accounts via the HSBC mobile banking app.
