IAP names central bank veteran as chief strategy officer

Malaysia’s Investment Account Platform (IAP), an Islamic bank-mediated crowdfunding platform, has announced Dr Siti Muawanah Lajis as its chief strategy officer.

Tasked with refining IAP’s business strategies, building alliances and strengthening the platform’s presence in the digital age, Dr Siti has built a 30-year career with Bank Negara Malaysia, spending a majority of it focusing on Islamic finance. She was instrumental in the establishment of INCEIF University and the International Shari’ah Research Academy for Islamic Finance. Dr Siti was also in the National Economic Action Council of the Prime Minister’s Department and was involved in the initiation of Malaysia’s first bilateral free trade agreement negotiation on services.

This announcement comes as the IAP facilitated the public debut of HEALTHSCAPE, a customer-to-business health and care company comprising MAHSA and ACG Heathcare. The healthcare membership-based platform provides consumers and employees with an annual screening program, access to their physician, digital health, and inviting in-person care.
