Khalid Howladar, the founder of Acreditus Partners, has been appointed as chairman of Marhaba Decentralized Financial Platform (MRHB DeFi)’s governance board, as part of an investment deal.
This latest strategic investment by the Dubai-based advisory firm follows a recent investment by Sheesha Finance, a decentralized fund platform based in the UAE, into MRHB DeFi. The size of both investments was not disclosed.
The Halal decentralized finance platform said that Khalid is tasked with ensuring high standards of corporate ethics, governance and risk management as the Australian company seeks to mature from being a bootstrapped start-up into a more institutional quality business. Khalid will also support the start-up in building regulatory and institutional partnerships, leveraging on his industry experience.
