Mutual Trust Bank will be upgrading the digital infrastructure of its Islamic banking business with the Ababil Islamic core banking system by Millennium Information Solution.
The second-generation bank serves the Bangladeshi market through its 95 branches. Integrating Ababil, certified Shariah compliant by the likes of AAOIFI and the International Shari’ah Research Academy for Islamic Finance, is part of the bank’s strategy to increase its Islamic banking market share as it looks to appeal to both Muslims and non-Muslims.
