Egyptian fintech NowPay, which offers Shariah compliant solutions for corporate employees, has joined Y Combinator and raised an undisclosed amount in a pre-Series A round, MENAbytes reported.
This follows an MoU recently signed between the fintech start-up with Export Development Bank of Egypt for a funding facility to facilitate NowPay’s salary advances product as well as to expand its product suite.
