Oromia International Bank (OIB) has implemented the ICS BANKS Universal Banking and ICS BANKS Interest Free Banking software suites by ICS Financial Systems (ICSFS) to support its Islamic and conventional banking businesses. OIB, which serves about 2 million customers, is the first bank in Ethiopia to introduce Shariah compliant banking services on a window basis across its 264 branches.
