Islamic digital microfinance platform Tamam has partnered with Tarabut Gateway to access open banking services.
Through the partnership, Tamam will have access to real-time financial data via Tarabut Gateway’s TG Connect product as well as access to customer data analytical tools. Tarabut Gateway’s income verification product will also assist in streamlining Tamam’s verification process of financing applicants’ incomes. This collaboration follows Tarabut Gateway being accepted into the Saudi Central Bank’s Regulatory Sandbox in December.
Founded in 2019 as a subsidiary of telecommunication company Zain, Tamam was certified Shariah compliant by Bahrain’s Shariyah Review Bureau in 2021.
